Vicki Wilson
Former Australian Netball Captain
With an eclectic professional portfolio of more than thirty years working across multiple dimensions of sport from grassroots to elite, Vicki has developed a diverse range of skills and expertise. She has a national and international profile in education, particularly High Performance sport and coach education and is actively involved in planning and delivering leading teams, corporate governance and strategic planning workshops.
As a result of voluntary participation and involvement with a number of community groups and not for profit organisations, she understands the importance of stakeholder networks and regularly interacts with local, state, and federal representatives to get things done. Her strong reputation for community engagement resulted in her being honoured with a 2000 Australia Day Honours Award OAM for distinguished service to netball as an elite player and coach, through support and advocacy for young women as a contributor to community.
Vicki has a track record of success in leading and supporting boards through periods of growth and significant change, through strategy development and implementation. She possesses a strong drive and determination to solve problems and achieve results and a genuine commitment to achieving success through teamwork.
She is a Director of the Brisbane Broncos and has experience as a Board member on two organisational boards, the Qld Academy of Sport and Stadium Qld Board.
