Tania de Jong is a leading Australian soprano, social entrepreneur, and the founder of five businesses and two charities over three decades. Known as an ‘agent for change’, she has been named as one of the 100 Women of Influence and as one of the 100 Most Influential Entrepreneurs in Australia. In 2008, Tania received the Order of Australia for her work as a performer, entrepreneur and for her impact on education, innovation and the community.
Internationally recognised as a keynote speaker, MC, performer, workshop leader and innovation catalyst, and having worked across the business, public, creative and community sectors, Tania is able to draw together cross-sector themes relevant to business and government sectors. She is renowned for her ability to unleash creative energy and expand mindsets.

As the granddaughter of Slawa Duldig, who invented the foldable umbrella, innovation is in Tania de Jong’s blood. She is passionate about the power of creativity and creative leadership to facilitate enormous and profound social change. She believes that every individual, team and organisation has untapped creative potential and that we need to unlock our human capital and allow people’s voices to be heard.
Tania is in demand at conferences across Australia, NZ, USA, Europe and Asia. She has presented keynotes for a range of associations, Universities and education conferences as well as major innovation events and festivals like Creative Fuel and Switch.
She delivered the opening keynote at the International Innovation Symposium in Vienna and has delivered keynotes to NAB, ANZ, BHP, AON Top 200, David Jones Top 150, Spotlight Top 300, BCG Top 150, McKinsey Top 100, Veolia Top 100, Perpetual Top 56 – to name a few. In 2018, Thinkers 50 invited Tania to be a keynote speaker and performer at the European Business Forum in Denmark.

Tania is the founder of Creative Universe, Creative Innovation Global, Dimension5, MTA Entertainment & Events, The Song Room and Creativity Australia and the With One Voice program. She is also the founder of Music Theatre Australia Entertainment & Events and founder and executive producer of Creative Innovation Global. Creative Innovation Global has received international and national awards including Corporate Event of the Year in the global Eventex Awards. The ground-breaking Creative Innovation Asia Pacific forum brings together international and national leaders to focus on managing and preparing for a rapidly changing world.
Tania performs internationally with her acclaimed musical group Pot-Pourri. Pot-Pourri presents a unique blend of international song, music theatre, cabaret, opera, magic, didgeridoo and comedy and customises their feature performances to suit each client and event. The group has released several CDs and has been named Australian Event Entertainer of the Year. Tania has released three solo albums.
Tania’s numerous awards include the Order of Australia in 2008 for her work as a performer, entrepreneur and for her impact on education, innovation and the community. Tania’s other awards include Ernst and Young Australian Social Entrepreneur of the Year, the ‘Outstanding Individual Contribution to Australian Culture’, Churchill Fellowship and The Melbourne Award. She was inducted into the AGSE Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame at Swinburne University and named Brainlink Woman of Achievement. Tania was named in the 2016 Impact 25 Awards which honour the social sector’s most influential people for their significant and positive impact in Australia and around the world.
Tania de Jong has a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and is a graduate of Victorian College of the Arts.
