Stacey Wordsworth

Stacey is a widely-experienced and committed agribusiness communications specialist who founded Blue Hill PR on her staunch belief agriculture should be good for people, good for business and good for the world.

For 20 years, Stacey has worked across journalism, public relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate affairs, issues management and advocacy. She has a diverse track record spanning both rural and mainstream media having held senior editorial, PR and management positions with ABC Radio and ABC Rural (on-air broadcaster), Rural Press Ltd (now Australian Community Media), AgForce, the National Farmers’ Federation and large PR agencies.

In this time, Stacey has sat on both sides of the fence, taking out awards for her reporting on some of the biggest issues in rural Australia as a journalist as well as devising complex communications, engagement and promotional strategies for some of the most recognisable agribusinesses in the country.

Stacey has an ongoing interest in her family’s stud and commercial beef operation south west of Rockhampton and was proudly President of the Rural Press Club of Queensland from 2020 to 2023.
