Helping Leaders Embrace Change and Build Resilience

From protecting aid workers in the Middle East to performing stand-up comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe, Rob Redenbach draws on his unique experiences to provide actionable tools for embracing change and building resilience. By adapting personal protection strategies to leadership and everyday life, he has coached high-performing teams in more than 20 countries.

Rob has also delivered sold-out talks at the Sydney Opera House, sharing practical lessons on leadership, resilience, and adaptability. His journey to this iconic stage was set in motion decades earlier.

While managing a security company in Papua New Guinea, Rob developed a defensive tactics system that he taught to the FBI in Los Angeles. The system was later featured in the official journal of the U.S. National Tactical Officers Association. He went on to teach it to Special Forces in the United Kingdom and Nelson Mandela’s bodyguard team in South Africa. This success led Rob to provide close personal protection to aid agencies in Iraq and become a regular commentator on Channel 7’s Sunrise.

Expanding beyond these domains, Rob earned a Master of Arts from CSU, studied mediation at Bond University’s Centre for Dispute Resolution, completed executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School, and collaborated with internationally respected leaders—including the authors of The Resilience Shield.

Rob’s versatility extends to writing and narrating the theme reel Write The Script, which challenges viewers to rethink the patterns shaping their choices.

Like his book Always a Little Further, Rob’s presentations empower leaders and teams to face adversity with courage and a renewed sense of purpose.

Leadership Without Rank

True influence isn’t about authority—it’s about earning respect and trust. Leadership Without Rank challenges the outdated notion of pulling rank, providing a practical framework to cultivate influence, inspire collaboration, and advance professionally. Through compelling real-world examples and actionable strategies, Rob equips participants with the tools to lead effectively—regardless of title.

Write The Script

Write The Script challenges audiences to break free from complacency and group conformity—forces that trap individuals and teams in rigid, unproductive routines. Bringing to life key lessons from Always a Little Further, Rob provides practical tools to foster adaptability, take ownership, and drive meaningful progress. As Unilever’s Global Chief of Transformation put it: “Rob’s idea of scripts, and how to adapt them to meet changing needs, is particularly important.”

Stress is Not The Problem

Eliminating stress isn’t the key to resilience—balancing high performance with intentional recovery is. In Stress is Not The Problem (the problem is a lack of recovery), Rob introduces a practical framework built around four key areas—Mind, Body, Social, and Global. Through this lens, his interactive facilitation creates an open dialogue that engages teams, sparks reflection, and drives action.

Storytelling for Leaders

Storytelling isn’t just a skill—it’s a leadership advantage. Storytelling for Leaders goes beyond public speaking tips, offering an interactive team-building experience that equips leaders with the ability to connect, influence, and empower. In a supportive environment, participants gain practical tools to craft compelling narratives, communicate with confidence, and lead with authenticity—turning everyday interactions into opportunities to inspire and drive action.
