Ngahihi o te ra Bidois has always been driven to achieve success. In fact, his personal life goals saw him achieve success in business by the age of 26. However, he quickly realised he had turned his back on his own indigenous Maori culture – he did not know what it meant to be Maori.

Confronted by this realisation, Ngahi realigned his personal goals and based them on identity. As a consequence, he retrained, achieving a business degree, a teaching diploma, and a Masters degree in education with honours before being employed in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of education. He taught in a primary Maori Total Immersion school, taught and managed in the secondary sector, and developed programmes and lectured in the tertiary sector before becoming a tertiary senior manager. In the business sector, Ngahihi has been a director and the Chair of multi-million dollar organisations.

Ngahihi believes that leadership starts with the person in the mirror and refers to ancient wisdom from his Maori culture and others as ‘Modern Solutions’ for you.
