Fox Sports host Lee Watson is one of Australia’s most popular and sought-after sports journalists and television presenters.
Lee, who holds a Bachelor of Communication in Journalism, began her television career at Network Ten presenting a nutrition and fitness segment for Seriously AFL. The role saw her working with consultants from the Sydney Swans and taking viewers behind the scenes to show what it takes to be a professional AFL player. She also hosted the Sexiest Man in League segment on Sports Tonight.
In 2005 The Daily Telegraph had nominated Lee as ‘Television Newcomer of the year’ in 2005 for her talents and she appeared in the newspaper each Friday to provide her football tips with other celebrities for the NRL.
Lee joined Fox Sports in 2006 and since then she has held presenting roles on Sports Tonight and Fox Sports News including hosting Football and Cricket Superstar on Fox 8 and covering Fox Sports international tennis coverage.
Lee is passionate about women’s health and wellbeing, sports and travelling.
Lee is a Foundation Friend and advocate of the McGrath Foundation and has also been an ambassador for Champion and Body Science. Lee, who is married to Australian cricketer Shane Watson, is also a Cricket Australia ‘Females in Cricket’ ambassador promoting the game to women.
