Laura Csortan began her career as both Miss Universe and Miss World Australia. Her warmth and quick wit saw her go on to become one of Australia’s leading TV presenters with an enviable television resume.
Laura Travelled the world for 7 years presenting on one of Australia’s most successful lifestyle programs The Great Outdoors. From high end shopping in Paris to climbing active volcanos in Vanuatu and trekking through dense jungle in Borneo in search of Orangutans Laura has covered it all.
She then co-hosted the internationally acclaimed Wheel of Fortune gracing our screens five days a week making her a household name.
Laura continued her passion for travel as a presenter on Channel 9’s Holidays for Sale and hosted a series of Qantas Destination Guides.
Laura lived in America for a year hosting Discovery channels Worlds Best Beaches. She also hosted Channel 7’s BBC Massive Nature, Racing Today, blooper show Good As Gold and was a panelist on Grand Prix TV.
Laura added another notch to her belt reading for Fox Sports News from the National News desk.
She is also a regular on Channel 7’s The Morning Show appearing on The Style Squad, The Dilemma and The Jury discussing everything from fashion to politics. She hosts Travel Segments and weekly Travel Tips.
Laura was the star of a major film for National Geographic, which saw her ride a motorbike across Morocco. The film aired in over 200 countries.
Originally from Adelaide, South Australia Laura gained certificates in both Outdoor Leadership and Fitness Leadership before studying a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Recreation Management majoring in journalism and psychology.
