Julie Snook

Julie Snook is an established media personality, who is well known for her work with the Nine Network and Sky News in Sydney. Julie is also a highly professional MC and event host. As comfortable on screen as she is on stage, Julie is personable, extremely organised, versatile and always professional.

Julie began her career in the NSW Central West as a print journalist with Rural Press. She moved to the ACT after a three year cadetship and was part of the founding team at the Canberra Weekly Magazine before making the switch to television with Southern Cross Austereo. After two years, Julie joined the team at Mix 106.3 as News Director and newsreader for the morning breakfast show. Seven months later, she accepted a role with Channel Nine in the Sydney newsroom.

Julie established herself within the Nine Network by reading the early edition news bulletin and filling in as a weather presenter for Sydney’s flagship 6PM bulletin and Weekend Today. It was during this time she enjoyed a stint as a guest newsreader at Triple M radio, Sydney.

In 2016 Julie was promoted into a presenting role for Nine’s daytime sports news bulletins where she has established herself as a key member of Sydney’s No.1 News team. In combination to her sports presenting duties, Julie has maintained her duties as a sports reporter for Nine News.
