Heather Foord is a well-known identity in Queensland having presented the news on television for over 25 years. With her long and varied career in journalism, she is equally at ease in front of a camera as she is on stage as the host of an event or keynote speaker.
Heather Foord grew up in Brisbane and completed studies at University of Queensland before commencing her first job in the media with Good Morning Australia (Network Ten). Soon after she joined Nine News as a reported, before quickly transitioning to the role of news reader.
Heather presented from the News Desk with Channel Nine for many years, during which she also did a short stint as a presenter of Today and hosted Extra.
As a mother to four daughters, Heather has juggled a successful career with a busy family life and draws on her experiences to share stories with her audience about balancing all that’s thrown at working parents.
