Darryl Lovegrove
Dynamic Keynote Speaker & MC
Darryl Lovegrove is one of Australia’s most in demand keynote speakers who takes an honest look at the challenges of managing a business on both the domestic and international stage. Fun, passionate and warm, Darryl is also a popular MC who keeps audiences engaged and events on track.
In his keynote presentations, Darryl tells his personal story of how he and a business partner, inspired by the world’s greatest opera singers The Three Tenors, established the operatic corporate entertainment phenomenon The Three Waiters. The Three Waiters quickly became the most performed corporate entertainment act in the world, experienced by almost three million people in 70 countries.
Entertainment was nothing new to Darryl Lovegrove. He was in the original Australian casts of Les Miserables, Chess and featured with Sarah Brightman and Anthony Warlow in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
He received critical acclaim for his portrayals of John Lennon in Looking Through a Glass Onion and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. A truly talented singer, he can perform in almost any musical style from Broadway to Buble with a bit of opera in between.
Eleven years after establishing The Three Waiters, Darryl Lovegrove sold his financial interest in the Act and established Lovegrove Entertainment right at the start of the Global Financial Crisis. Cutting through corporate jargon he provides an honest look at the challenges involved with a start-up operation and the obstacles faced as an Australian establishing a company domestically and overseas. Darryl reveals how, despite a challenging market and faced with declining demand, he succeeded in producing innovative, award winning corporate entertainment acts.
Darryl’s first hand account of being able to ‘walk the talk’ has established him as one of Australia’s business resilience experts and seen Spice Magazine rate him in the top five speakers and presenters two years running. In 2014 he was invited to speak at the ‘Million Dollar Round Table’ in Toronto, which is, arguably, the most prestigious conference in the world.
As entertaining as it is informative, and delivered in a manner unique to the professional speaking circuit, Lovegrove punctuates his story with the live performance of operatic arias making him the perfect opener or closer for a conference, incentive or event.
Emphasising the importance of resilience, passion, being pro-active, innovation, leadership, quality control and maintaining focus, Darryl Lovegrove leaves every audience with powerful key messages to take away and put into action.
