Queensland’s most experienced Media All-Rounder. From the Politics of Sport to the Sport of Politics and everything in between. Ben Davis has 3-decades in Television and Radio – covering Sport, News, and Current Affairs.
In 2022, he was recruited to launch SEN Radio into Queensland as the 693 a.m. SENQ Mornings host, covering the biggest issues and breaking news in Sports across the state, country, and Globe.
From State of Origin dressing rooms, The Long Room at Lord’s, to the AFL Grand Final — Ben has travelled the globe Interviewing Prime Ministers, World Champions, Premiers, National Sporting Captains, and News Makers.
An experienced MC, Ben has hosted Queensland’s biggest events such as The AFL Gabba Grand Final, Premiers Export Awards, Broncos Presentation Awards, Lions Club Champion, Lord Mayor’s Business Awards, Cricket Australia Test Matches, Ronald McDonald House RED BOOT HOOT, Netball Qld Awards, The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols, JDRF’s Celebrity Sports Quiz, Brisbane International Launch, Hyundai Excellence Awards, Premier’s Resilience Awards, Morcombe Foundation Dance for Daniel, Bulls Masters Events and many more.
For 30 years as a Sports Reporter and Presenter at Channel 7, he covered some of our biggest Sporting Events including NRL and AFL Grand Finals, Ashes Tours, Wallabies European Tours, and Rugby League World Cups.
In a national capacity, he has been a Sports Presenter on Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise.
In 2014 he made the switch to Radio 4BC’s Drive Host. The role expanded Ben’s skill set to current affairs and live breaking news – Covering State Elections, Jeff Horn’s “Battle of
Brisbane” World Title Fight with Manny Pacquiao, G20 Summit, and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Ben is also a Proud Ambassador for the Queensland Cricketer’s Club and Family and Run Westpoint Autos.
